As a consequence of recent negotiations with OAMPS, members can now access Professional Indemnity Insurance at a greatly reduced cost. It provides cover for Reiki plus some 200 other modalities.

Results of Teachers' Questionnaire

So much of what has been said about the business side of public practice has been based solely on one's own experience, or other unsubstantiated information. For the first time in WA, members can view the results of a questionnaire distributed to teachers attending the July 24th Gathering. If you are considering establishing a public practice, this is some of what you can expect!

Health Care Complaints Commission: Review of Codes of Practice

Following forums held throughout Australia, the HCCC is reviewing their current 'Codes of Practice'. The final report is expected to be completed late Sept/Oct and when adopted by the WA Government, will regulate ALL public practitioners. If you provide public treatments - either paid or as a volunteer - you need to know about these codes.
